Students & Teens

Parents everywhere may wish there was a Teen or Students Insurance Policy that would provide coverage for anything and everything. Unfortunately, there is no such policy. The best things parents can do is work with their insurance agent to discuss how to best provide coverage for this age group and their sometimes unique situation.

Automobile Policies, for example, will generally cost more for new young drivers than for their parents. Writing the policy in a parent’s name, purchase low coverage limits, or garage the car in a lower rated territory, may all sound like good ways to keep the cost down. Professional agents will suggest better alternatives that provide proper protection for your whole family through policies or programs offered by a number of different insurance companies.

Property Insurance may be important for the student living away from home who owns computers, furniture, audio equipment, clothes and more. Your Homeowners insurance may provide some, but not enough, for this potential risk.

Your professional Insurance Agent is qualified to assess your special need and offer alternatives that suit your needs.
